The Director of Security is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing enterprise-wide security programs that protect people, facilities, assets, and information. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on oversight to ensure a safe, secure, and compliant operating environment across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and lead organization-wide security strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements

Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses; design and implement mitigation strategies

Lead crisis management, emergency response, and business continuity planning

Direct investigations into security incidents, breaches, and policy violations, ensuring legal and ethical compliance

Implement and maintain security awareness and training programs across the organization

Evaluate, implement, and optimize security technologies such as video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and integrated platforms

Partner with IT and cybersecurity teams to align physical and digital security initiatives

Prepare and present security metrics, reports, and risk briefings to executive leadership

Provide AWS DevOps support related to security and access management

Assist operational teams with AWS access and workflow optimization
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field

5+ years of progressive security management experience, including at least 2 years in a senior leadership role

Professional security certification (CPP, PSP, or equivalent) preferred

Experience managing security operations across multiple locations

Demonstrated expertise in crisis management, emergency response, and business continuity planning
