Electronics Test Technician
Summary
Support the design and approval testing of electronic and electro-mechanical products. Install and utilize test equipment, execute testing procedures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on design validation and verification.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct testing using established procedures and develop detailed reports with analysis and recommendations
• Integrate electronic, electrical, mechanical, and software principles in testing environments
• Support fixture design, test protocol development, and data analysis
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in product design, test methods, and lab processes
• Attend design reviews and answer test-related questions
• Evaluate opportunities to improve lab processes through data acquisition and automation
• Recommend enhancements to lab technical capabilities
Required Qualifications
• Associate degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent
• Entry-level experience with electronics, electrical systems, or robotics
• Ability to interpret engineering documents (schematics, drawings, software code)
• Proficiency with standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, calipers) and specialized electronics test equipment
• Electronic circuit and software troubleshooting experience
• Soldering and board repair skills
