Outside Sales Account Manager
Summary
A leading Midwest distributor in the pipe, valve, and fittings industry is seeking a full time Outside Sales Account Manager. This role requires experience with mechanical and industrial piping applications. The organization continues to expand its operations and is known for specialty services, large inventory availability, energy efficient solutions, and strong customer support. Responsibilities
• Visit customer offices and job sites
• Prospect and develop new business
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to generate and close sales opportunities
• Meet or exceed monthly gross profit targets
• Partner with key vendors to promote products and drive sales through joint calls
• Sell all products offered across the company’s catalog
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and industrial piping applications
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Polished sales, communication, and organizational skills
• Motivated team player with strong initiative
