Design Engineer – CATIA AND Siemens NX Required

Support the design and development of automotive components from concept through production. This role focuses on CAD design, engineering releases, validation support, cross-functional collaboration, and launch activities.
Responsibilities:
- Create and release 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA V5 and Siemens NX.
- Manage engineering releases, BOMs, specifications, and design changes.
- Support product development from concept through launch with a focus on quality, cost, and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Program Management, Suppliers, and Customers.
- Participate in APQP activities including DFMEA/PFMEA, design reviews, and validation support.
- Support DV/PV builds, launch activities, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Apply GD&T and dimensional management principles to ensure proper fit and function.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of automotive product development or design engineering experience.
- Strong CATIA V5 and Siemens NX experience required.
- Teamcenter or similar PLM/PDM experience required.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and automotive development processes (APQP, PPAP, DFMEA/PFMEA, DVP&R).
- Experience supporting builds, launches, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
