Responsibilities/skills:
• Oversee accounting, cost accounting, and financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and present financial results, risks, and insights to leadership.
• Maintain strong internal controls and safeguard company assets.
• Serve as a financial advisor to leadership, providing data-driven insights.
• Analyze cost drivers, performance, and growth opportunities.
• Evaluate investments and initiatives with financial analysis.
• Lead and develop the finance team.
• Support department leaders in aligning decisions with financial goals.
• Foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitor performance, analyze variances, and recommend actions.
• Develop and track KPIs across the business.
• Oversee product costing and inventory valuation.
• Partner with operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent designation preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including leadership in manufacturing.
• Experience managing financial operations in mid-sized organizations.
• Strong background in cost accounting and manufacturing finance.
• Expertise in US GAAP and internal controls.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
